Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Play-Toys, we are committed to delivering your orders promptly and efficiently. We offer free standard delivery using Royal Mail and Evri to ensure your shopping experience is as convenient as possible.


1. Delivery Options and Areas

Great Britain: Standard delivery within 3 - 5 working days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed after 10 pm on Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday, excluding public holidays. We strive to deliver all your items together; however, your order may arrive in separate consignments.


Islands & Scottish Highlands: Delivery within 3 - 5 working days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. We will make every effort to deliver all your items together, but your order may arrive in separate consignments due to logistical reasons.


Northern Ireland: Delivery within 3 - 5 working days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Items may be delivered separately depending on stock availability.


2. Large and Bulky Items

Large bulky items can take between 3 - 6 working days for delivery. If your order contains a large or bulky item, you will be notified of the delivery timeframe when you add this item to your basket. Large, bulky items are typically products that weigh over 30 kg, but some items may be classified as large or bulky due to their dimensions, even if they weigh less. Our couriers can only deliver to your doorstep and are unable to enter your property. Please ensure someone is on hand to assist at the arranged time of delivery. We strive to deliver all your items together; however, your order may arrive in separate consignments.


3. Delivery Failure

If you fail to take delivery of the ordered goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you upon their arrival via email. A refund of the cost of goods will be processed within 7 days unless you notify us that the goods are still required. If the goods are still required, we can arrange re-delivery; you may be charged an additional delivery fee for a second delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is present at the delivery address on the specified date to sign for the parcel. If no one is present, the courier may leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place on the property. For apartment deliveries, the courier may deliver to the communal postal area or leave it at your door. If a parcel is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact our Customer Services through our website within 7 working days from the last day of expected delivery. Allow 3-5 working days from notifying us to investigate with the courier. If a refund is issued and the goods are later located, we reserve the right to charge you for these goods unless you return them to us. Failure to raise an initial query within this timeframe may limit our ability to assist.


4. Stock Availability

Products displayed as "In Stock" are available in our warehouse for immediate dispatch. In the unlikely event that any ordered goods are not readily available, we reserve the right to cancel your order. You will receive an email notification of any order cancellation due to stock issues, confirming that any pre-authorisation has been released or payment refunded, in line with our Payment Terms. If the out-of-stock item is part of a larger order, all other goods will be dispatched as normal.


5. Delivery Timeframes

We aim to achieve on-time delivery on all orders. Our experience is that delivery is successful within the chosen period in 99% of cases. We use third-party courier services, and occasionally, human error may cause a package to be misdirected. Once dispatched, the on-time delivery of a package is the responsibility of the courier company, and Play-Toys cannot be held responsible for delays. To avoid disappointment, we suggest placing orders well in advance of special occasions to allow for unforeseen delays.


6. Exclusions

All delivery times are guidelines and are not 100% guaranteed due to factors outside our control. Deliveries to remote locations may take longer than the standard timeframe. Large or bulky items may require someone present to assist with delivery, and delivery may take between 3 - 6 working days.


7. Important Information

We strive to deliver all your items together; however, orders may arrive separately. Standard delivery is free for all orders, with no additional charges unless specified for large or bulky items. Once dispatched, responsibility for on-time delivery lies with the courier. We cannot be held accountable for delays caused by the courier service.
